Our Method

Math is a skill, not a subject

We believe math is a skill, not a subject. FLAME is the method behind every lesson, five stages that take a student from stuck to confident.

The Five Stages

From stuck to confident, one stage at a time

  1. Foundation

    Focus on Foundation

Every new student starts with a free diagnostic consultation. Our specialist teachers assess where the child stands, then write a short report of the exact topic gaps and recommend the lesson style that fits best. A strong base comes first.

  2. Learn

    Learn Optimally

No single approach fits everyone. Lessons come as lecture style, small group, or 1-1, with small group kept under five and lecture groups led by our founder. Each is backed by curated worksheets, exam papers, and cheat sheets that make concepts stick.

  3. Accelerate

    Accelerate and Apply

Intensive holiday workshops and bootcamps in March, June, and September cover up to 80 percent of the syllabus, so students revisit weak topics and stay ahead. After eight years of curation, our complete syllabus helps students outperform without excessive study time, and it is revised yearly.

  4. Materials

    Materials and Mentorship

Yearly updated lecture notes, the latest exam questions, and summary formula booklets, all curated from the newest MOE papers. Weekly take home practice reinforces the week's lesson, backed by our signature cheat sheets and formula pads.

  5. Environment

    Enriching the Environment

We are at Upper Bukit Timah, one minute from Beauty World MRT. The centre has a book corner, a self study and consultation room, and a pantry. Classes are hybrid and recorded, tutors stay reachable on WhatsApp, and students facing hardship can apply for the TSV Financial Aid Scheme.

Start with a trial class and diagnostic. Every new student begins with a free consultation, so we teach the actual gap from day one.
